If I were a South Carolina Republican voter on Saturday, then for parochial, tactical, and philosophical reasons, I would vote for Fred Thompson.

I love Fred Thompson. At this point though, he just doesn't have the overall level of support, the votes, the delegates, the resources, or the momentum to win the nomination. Thompson and Romney were the only two truly conservative candidates that had a chance. Romney still has a chance...in fact I think more than that-especially if he can win Florida. FredHeads, let's unite! Support Romney and we can defeat McCain-Feingold-Kennedy-Edwards-ACLU and Huckabee-Fatally-Divide-the-GOP and Rudy-Pro-Choice-Giuliani...
